1950's Stonehill Drinks Cabinet/ Sideboard
Oh my! Everest 💚
You may remember Forest & Hunter? Well, after an almost 3 year search I located another sibling, the very smart, dapper clean-cut 'Everest'. Stonehill sure did know how to do cabinets and do them well.
Stonehill Furniture was founded in 1910 by a young Austrian who had refined his craft as an apprentice cabinet maker in London since 1895. The company quickly gained a reputation for creating exquisite luxury furniture. Initially focusing on bedroom pieces before expanding to include elegant sideboards and sophisticated drinks cabinets.
This beautiful piece, crafted around the 1950s, exemplifies Stonehill's signature style. Boasting generous storage, a tempered glass drop down worktop, a motion sensor light, mirrored backing and a lined spacious drawer designed to keep essential mixology accessories within easy reach.
The cabinet's deep green finish provides a warm backdrop for its rich walnut grain, which is elegantly accented by a gold art deco design, that simply adds a touch of opulence to an already stunning piece of mid century history.
Now, the only decision left is whether you would like it shaken or stirred. However, before you make that choice keep in mind - like all MD Serendipity Designs 'Everest' is the only one of his kind world wide. When he's gone he's gone, so grap him quickly!
Height 30"
Length 56"
Depth 18"
Everest has experienced a previous life and may show signs of minor imperfection which just adds to his character and charm 🌹
