1920 Art Deco Curved Drinks/ Cocktail Cabinet/ Sideboard

€2,695.00

Well hello there Quentin ❤️

Ah, Art Deco, you beauty! They certainly don't make them like this anymore.

Throughout his over 100 years, Quentin had endured his fair share of bumps and bruises. However, he was structurally sound, so I knew everything else could be worked with.

His back and drawer base needed replacement, and his original finish required a complete overhaul. This involved stripping it back, sanding, and re-oiling to remove damage, dents, scrapes, and scratches.

The eye-catching double door opening was completely redesigned. After clearing away the old dated vinyl and worn-out varnish, Quentin was sanded, painted, stenciled, and fitted with a new mirror, toughened glass, and a motion-censored light.

His two handsome walnut grained curved side cupboards were thoroughly cleaned, with the shelves and walls painted a rich dark navy with just a touch of gold added to enhance the luxurious feel and match his funky Art Deco theme.

The middle top lift-up cutlery tray was sanded, painted, and felted. To maintain his deco theme, his rise-up was stenciled similarly to the outer design, bringing the inside out.

His drawer was fixed, stained, and felted to tie in with his cutlery section. Finally all hinges, hardware, and mechanisms were cleaned, polished, and oiled and I'm sure you'll agree, he's now looking fineee!!!

To quote again the Gucci family slogan - “Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten", and as with all MD Serendipity Designs Quentin is of extremely high quality, completely unique and the only one of his kind world wide. So grab him quick before he's gone.

Height 33.5"

Length 54"

Depth 20"

Quentin has experienced a previous life and may show signs of minor imperfection which just adds to his character and charm 🌹
